ACCREDITATION

Accelerated Schools of Overland Park is fully accredited by both the State of Kansas and Cognia. Accreditation helps educational institutions improve their performance for the benefit of their students. It also provides parents with confidence that their child's school is providing the highest level of educational excellence.

State of Kansas

The Kansas State Board of Education is responsible for the accreditation of schools in Kansas. Private schools are not required to be accredited by the state; those that are, like Accelerated Schools, are known as Accredited Private Schools.

The State Board follows accreditation regulations that are based on a model called Kansas Education System Accreditation (KESA). The accreditation process occurs on an annual basis. Accelerated Schools is accredited with an effective date of September 11, 2024. Its accreditation certificate can be viewed here.

Cognia
