Best Places to Work Honoree

Accelerated Schools was 1 of 45 honorees in the Kansas City Business Journal’s 2024 Best Places to Work awards program. The Best Places to Work program recognizes companies and organizations in the Kansas City Area who exhibit excellence in creating a positive culture for their employees. Organizations are ranked by employee surveys in the areas of work culture, leadership, employee benefits, feeling valued and employee opportunities to contribute to their profession and communities.

Accelerated Schools was honored to be recognized in the top 10 for the “5-50 local employees” category, and even more thrilled to be the only school honored in any size category. Principal Annie Swartz shares that “ASOP is where teachers go to recharge, refresh and renew. With an average student to teacher ratio of 7:1, teachers can truly connect with students, share their passion for learning, and witness radical change as students
start to remember/redefine their capacity for success.” Read more here.
