CURRENT JOB OPENINGS

Middle School/High School Math Teacher

Accelerated Schools of Overland Park (ASOP) is looking for a part-time, Middle School/High School math teacher (grades 6-12) for the 2024-2025 school year. Hours are extremely flexible and can be determined upon hiring.

We are a small, private school serving students in grades 4-12 from all over the Kansas City Metro area. ASOP is accredited by the State of Kansas and Cognia.

ASOP math classes have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 5:1. Math teachers work with each student individually, as opposed to group instruction.  This approach allows the time and flexibility to adapt curriculum to identify and address each student’s individual needs.

The typical ASOP student has average to above average academic ability. However, they are not currently executing at that level. ASOP math teachers work with each student individually to rebuild self-esteem and academic skills, in order to maximize success.

If you are looking for a low-stress and high-impact teaching position in a school with a culture that emphasizes the importance of supporting staff personally and professionally, we would love to speak with you!
