Accelerated Schools of Overland Park has created the Art Room Renovation Fund. Art classes by teacher Joy have a significant impact on the academic and personal success of our students.

Additional details about how art classes promote the well-being of our students, as well as the planned renovations, are available in Director Jane’s fundraiser announcement letter.

Your generous gifts to this fund have already allowed important renovations to the art room to occur, including:

  • expanding the room’s function and flow,

  • transforming a storage closet into a wet room for work with clay,

  • upgrading the plumbing and electrical, and

  • replacing the old fluorescent lights with new LED lights.

There are still many items left on the Wish List for the art room, including pottery supplies (e.g., clay and glazes), a color printer and ink, a ceiling fan, and continued improvements to workspace, seating, lighting and storage.

You can make a donation gift to ASOP’s Art Room Renovation Fund with a check or cash. Checks should be made payable to: Accelerated Schools of Overland Park. Please note “Art Room Fund” in the check’s memo line.

Checks or cash can be:
